SasonbiSolar and its employees embarked on the Discovery Trail at Masungi on November 11th, 2023. This immersive excursion aims to connect participants with nature and emphasize the importance of environmental protection. Located in Rizal, the Masungi Georeserve provided the perfect setting for this endeavor. The commitment to strengthening and nurturing a deeper understanding of conservation was a significant moment for SasonbiSolar. It not only cultivates appreciation and awareness of environmental issues but also promotes camaraderie among its workforce.

The Discovery Trail features a guided tour and interactive activities that allowed SasonbiSolar’s employees to experience firsthand environmental stewardship and gain insights into the delicate coexistence between humans and nature.
Earlier in May, SasonbiSolar also donated a drone and an Off-Grid Solar PV System to the Georeserve. The drone facilitated aerial surveys and watershed surveillance, while the solar power system enabled park rangers to charge their radios for communication in areas without access to power on the mountain. This also addressed issues with lighting sources.

When asked about future endeavors with Masungi Georeserve, Dante Briones (CEO and President of SasonbiSolar) stated, “Yes, we will continue our annual tree planting activity with them and perhaps assist them in an area where Sasonbi is particularly strong: renewable energy.”
